Well, seeing how we have 4 kids and all, not surprisingly, Matt and I don't get to go out alone much. So last night we had a date. He went and got Red Robin (my favorite) and we ate it, after all the girls were asleep on the couch, together picnic style on the floor of the family room. It was so yummy! And it was the closest thing to a date we've had in forever. The "hot" part about it, of course, were the french fries, which were and are the best fries EVER. I don't know why I love them so much .... I think it stems from craving them when I was pregnant with Brielle, and I've loved them ever since. Mmmmmm. So good.
Sometimes we'll take whatever we can get I guess. (it's a sad thought that this is our idea of a hot date ... but there it is)

George and I went to Cash and Carry and bought a big piece of meat yesterday. He cut it into steaks and packaged them in twos. We did this once before. Our treat is a steak dinner after the others are in bed. By the way, you can have all the baby tears you want.
Great idea, and you don't have to pay for a baby-sitter! :) Still counts as time alone, which is the point of a date!
Hey! I am glad I found your blog. I can't believe how big the girls are getting. Just so you know... Red Robin is my favorite place to eat. We used to eat there all the time in Federal Way until it got a little bit more expensive than we would have liked. I am so excited because they are actually building one in St. George :) Anyway... enough for my novel. Talk to you soon.
