Ode to My Sister Siri

Today is my big sister Siri's 32nd birthday! Happy Birthday! These are the reasons why Siri is a great sister:

1. She has a nice smile (I've always been jealous of her smile)
2. She's tall ... a good trait for a "big" sister
3. She's photogenic (I always wished I could look like her in pictures)
4. She's a great teacher
5. She's an even greater mom
6. I like her laugh
7. She's generous .... always letting us stay at her house and invade their space
8. She's always been the good constant child in the family .... something I could use a little of
9. She's an excellent speaker in public situations .... (I could learn something from her in that area for sure)
10. We used to be able to share clothes (I will look back on my skinny days with fondness .... she now, is the same size) and she always let me borrow her stuff .... and didn't get too mad when I didn't ask
11. She went to college and earned her degree and had a career (I have to admit I'm jealous of that too)
12. She has a really nice and funny (and also generous) husband
13. She has a super cute and adorable son
14. When I call her, she listens to me, even if it's complaining about my kids or something
15. She has cute shoes
16. She's pretty (when she got her senior pictures taken, I wished I could look like her)
17. She's forgiving (I know I've been a typical little sister .... less than kind sometimes, and she has always overlooked my flaws in that area .... I really appreciate this the most)
18. She's always willing to do stuff .... whether it's just sit and talk or go do something ... she's pretty open minded
19. She has a great name .... Siri Marianna (or Mariana?)
20. In school, people used to say we looked alike (which I liked .... although I don't think it was true)
21. She has the same "lazy eye twitch" that I have (well, Cori and Amber have it too .... and now my kids have shown signs of having it .... must be genetic)
22. She can play the piano
23. She bakes yummy cookies (especially the ones with candy in them)
24. She drives a Hummer (I think that's really admirable ... I couldn't drive something so big!)
25. She has brown eyes and brown hair (I like that combo .... probably because I never see it in my own family)
26. She's a lefty .... I think it would be hard to be left handed
27. She has good decorating sense ... I really like her furniture
28. She's always been a good example for a younger sister, I can't think of anything that I wouldn't want to emulate about her
29. If Matt and I die, she agreed to take our girls (we have 4 now, when she agreed we didn't have this many, but she still says she will ... that's sweet ... I know she would be a great mom for them if I wasn't here .... but that's not going to happen I hope!)
30. She is a good and faithful member of the church
31. She is patient and kind
32. All in all, she is a good person with a good heart, and a great smile! I really do love her ... .I hope she knows that.
