Auto Lotto

Well, we didn't hit the jackpot this week ... Yesterday the Honda Odyssey's awesome sliding doors became less awesome. I really think they're so handy sometimes, well, most of the time. I love the fact that I can just push a button and have them open, but yesterday they became less than desirable. Kate's door won't shut all the way without "hipping" it a little bit, and then yesterday, even after pushing it shut, the stinking "BEEEEEEEEP" wouldn't go off (when you put in drive it beeps if the door is ajar), so needless to say, we had to take it in this morning. Matt just went to pick it up ... it's costing $350 to replace the motor. UGGGGHHHH! It seems like such a waste of money, but we need the door to work, and those doors won't close the manual way.

So much for convenience and technology .... sometimes it costs more than it's worth.
