Well, maybe not quite narcoleptic ... but definitely odd. If you've been reading this blog with any regularity, you will know that I have posted several pictures in the past of my dear children falling asleep in the strangest positions or places. Today proved to be no less strange than the others.
(Tessa is dead asleep in the baby walker that we have sitting in the spare bedroom ...Kate doesn't use it anymore so I guess Tess thought she'd take it for a spin and got too tired?)

In Tessa's defense, she did need a nap ... and Linzi was playing the computer next to her, so that may have "lulled" her to sleep.
If I hadn't seen the picture with my own eyes--I would never have thought this was possible. It must crack you and Matt up to stumble upon your kids like this. What a riot.
How in the world!? What a funny habit :) My children only do this when they are really sick, and I know they are extra tired...so it's very rare.
Its a battle to get my kids to sleep so this would not happen in my house. I miss those days of (the older boys) falling asleep at the table ect. These last two dont need sleep or so they think!
I think your kids are the funniest. My kids never fall asleep anywhere but their beds and possibly the car. Callie sometimes will fall asleep in her chair by the TV, but nothing as funny as your kids. I love it!
Does it seem like it happens to Tessa a lot? When you were little, sometimes your face would get red and you'd head to bed. I always thought you just needed the rest.
That is so funny, Cute picture.
I so wish I had the ability to fall asleep anywhere. *jealous* You're kids are so cute.
If only my kids would fall asleep quickly like that! Your girls are so adorable and I love your blog. Hope to see you all when we're in Washington this summer!
