or grossest ... depending on how you look at it.
This morning before breakfast Tessa's stomach growled. Of course, she sees it differently .... this is what she said ...
"Mom, my stomach farted."
Normally I wouldn't write about such things (in this house full of girls, we try to stay away from that kind of talk) .... but Tessa doesn't seem to care about the fact that I don't like her to talk about it .... in general, everyday at least once she says, "I farted," really loudly. Luckily, she hasn't done it in public yet.
It's only a matter of time I suppose. Oh, the loveliness of real life.

When callie had gas problems she would say..Excuse me I burped.Of course she had many varities of saying this and this was the tamest.
Oh you guys have it so easy, my boys say that one all the time. They even don't seem to mind if they announce that to every one, which I try to stop before it comes out of there mouth.
try a house of boys (with only one girl) and they all think its funny, even the dad who is also a boy! Actually Kimber calls both farts and burps furps (or furped), isnt that funny!
oh and Bridger calls it poopgas, gross!
She just needs a new and interesting word that will fascinate her and then she can forget the fart word. Just find something else! Remember how Grandma White called vomitting tossing your cookies? It sounded better.
