8 Years Ago Today

8 years ago today I went to the hospital to be induced. I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I felt happy and excited when we walked into the hospital, and a few hours later I was telling Matt that I wanted to go home and forget the whole thing. Obviously that didn't happen. Once she was out, and I forgot all about the horrendous pain and agony I had just endured (I recall telling my friend Alexis that it was the worst thing I had ever done) I took one look at her and decided that it was worth it.She was perfect! (except for her crooked nose everyone kept pointing out ... as if I hadn't noticed ... which, I might add became perfectly cute)

So for these past 8 years, Brielle has made our lives WAY different, but I really can't imagine what we would even do without her ... I mean literally, I think we would sit around all day and stare at the wall.

Brielle has been the best thing to ever happen to me. I am so happy that I became her mom.
Here are 8 things I love about Brielle:

1. She has the best laugh ... it's certainly contagious

2. She is the most helpful big sister I could ask for

3. She always loves the clothes I buy her ... and likes to shop with me
4. She is a great reader, and likes to sit by me on the couch as we both read
5. Brielle has always been dramatic, which I think makes her unique ... she has flair!
6. Brielle is kind and loving most of the time

7. Brielle knows how to choose the right, and always does so even when her friends don't

8. Brielle is sweet and cute and has made my life happier!I am so happy Matt and I chose to have kids, and we are blessed to have Brielle in our family. I hope today is a great 8th birthday for her and I love her very much!!

(of course, we had Brielle before digital cameras became popular ... so all these pictures are in a scrap book and scanned into the computer. They were scrapped back when I only had Brielle and had way more time ... poor Linzi doesn't have digital pictures or a scrap book.)
