It's a Beautiful Morning

And Kate seems to have forgiven me .... (see the 2 posts below this)

She slept in her bed until Matt's alarm went off at 4:30 ... then I decided to feed her because I still need to do it a few times a day so I don't die of explosion. I also fed her at 7. Now I will try to not feed her again until tonight.

Man, that was really hard. She stopped crying eventually (I think it took 45 minutes), but for hours she was still doing that breathing crying thing.

So sad. I guess now it is one day closer to independence for us both.

That's a good thing.

Hopefully the hardest part is over and it will be a little easier tonight. Gwyn was my hardest to stop night feedings. She still drinks water in a bottle at night though, which doesn't sound too bad, except she drinks so much that she wets through her diaper and clothes. I used to have to get up every night to change her completely, but it's getting better now. Good luck to you and Kate.

Good for you! Isn't it a beautiful day! I took Grandma to the eye doctor, actually, Karen and I did it because it was a 2 person job. Took three hours! We came home and ate ice cream. We are tired now.

Of course she forgives you. This time next week it will all be a memory and she won't know the difference. I'm so proud of you for sticking to your guns and toughing it out!
