Today was a BUSY day. It started with me getting up at 5:45 so I could be ready before the girls got up. I had to go to school today to tell Brielle's principal that a boy at school showed her a "shock gun" yesterday. The way she described it, Matt and I think it must have been some sort of taser. Nice, huh?
While I was talking to the principal, I asked her to sign a release, so I could transfer Brielle and Linzi's school records to a new school for next year. So then, I drove to the new school Downing Elementary. I filled out all the paperwork, so as of today, next year they will be going to Downing and I will be driving them the 15 minute drive everyday.
This might seem like a crazy thing to do, but I've been thinking about it for a while, and I prayed about it, and it feels like the right thing. (their cousins Jesse and Levi will be there too ... so that's nice) So, it's done.
Next, I went to Beth's house where the little girls played, and I had a little lesson on quilting. (I know how to do it, just not the way she does it) So that was fun and informative! I always like chatting with Beth and she was VERY helpful.
After that, I met Matt and Tim for lunch at Taco Bell, because we were hungry. Then, I went and visited with Jessica for a little while. Molly and Kate actually played really well together today. That was fun, and I always love seeing little babies!! (Asher is very cute!!)
We took a quick pit stop to Fred Meyer for milk and then went to pick up the girls. It was a busy day, but fun! (now I need to slow down long enough to finish reading The Host)
How was your day?

sounds like my wed, thurs and now fri. I need a break.
What, I cant believe that a kid so young would be bringing something like that to school. I wish the parents would be more aware, That is just to scary.
I know what you mean. I am actually sending Lily to an out-of-district school next year. I haven't felt good about our neighborhood school since we moved in. When I signed her up for this other school I suddenly had such a peaceful feeling. Schools can be a scary place now days and I think Heavenly Father knows where each of our kids belong and where they will thrive. After reading what you wrote I am glad you are sending them somewhere else. The drive will be worth it!
