Saturday, as we were driving to my mom's house for my grandma's birthday, this is the sight 
we saw in the car. Can you believe they were such sleepy heads? It's only a 20 minute drive ... and this is about 5 minutes into it. They must have gotten up too early (always). I think it's pretty funny .... Kate was the only one who stayed awake, but she also looked kind of dazed.
If only they would do this during the day at home, I might be able to get a nap once in a while. (a mom can only dream!)
(Tessa put her socks on ... and I didn't realize until later that it was one black and one blue ... cute girl!)

You would think it would be just the opposite...baby sleeps, the older kids awake! I suppose it made for a very quiet drive! :)
This is pretty cute!
I like that she was wearing mismatched socks... it means she put them on herself and that is all that matters!
I never noticed on Saturday what they were wearing anyway. I think the cousins they were playing with had the same fashion sense as them; so no one was the wiser. But their Mom had enough time to get stuff done. That's the great part. I agree with Cori.
