Clean Streak

That is what I need to have. A clean streak. I really need to pick up around here! I don't think Tessa is in the sort of mood to be helpful, and Kate is extremely needy lately ... If I leave the room she cries. That's very frustrating. How can I get anything done with Kate screaming at my back? She just needs to get over it ... although I don't see that happening any time soon.

Oh well ... she's little, I guess I can understand her separation anxiety. I would love her to want to sit quietly and play! But alas, that is not happening .... at least today. I will have to settle for holding her and sporadically picking up when I get a random 5 minutes. No wonder this place is always messy.

Maybe this is just one of those days. Now that Cori is gone our life has settled back into its normal monotony.

try putting a few favorite toys or newer toys in a laundry basket. Then put her in it with a blanket, then pack the basket from room to room, sitting down next to you so she can play by you. Maybe the basket will make it fun or new that you can have 5 maybe 6 minutes. Not that my house is picked up mind you. hehe

I say let her cry... just kidding. I usually only get things done during nap time and after the girls go to bed. However, I do think you are too nice. Nicer than me- maybe that's why your babies love you more than my babies love me- I can't wait for them to get bigger and you want them to stay small forever. Can you and I just switch somewhere in the middle?

This makes me laugh. Kelli has a good idea and Cori talks tough but takes the line of least resistance, doing it during nap time. Too bad I can't put grandma in a basket with a blanket and hope for her to be happy. How would I shift her from room to room? Even at 60 pounds she is too big! What would she play with?

Mom ~ That is hilarious...I'm trying to imagine Grandma in a basket! She would probably through a bigger tantrum than Kate! However, if you put a TV in the basket she might be fine! :)

I love Kelli's idea! :)
