Bakery Beecher

I had a busy weekend of baking. Cookies for church (implying having a pure heart), and Barbie cake for Tessa. So the cookies I've done before ... no big deal. But the cake .... Tessa saw one and wanted it, so I had to try it. It took a long time, but turned out actually to resemble a Barbie wearing a really puffy skirted dress. (made out of frosting) The girls thought it was so cool ... so I guess it was worth it.

(okay ... sorry, I know that's quite a few pictures of a Barbie cake ... but it took me a long time, so I want her to get as much "air time" as I can.)

Now Linzi wants a pirate ship cake, and Brielle wants another Barbie cake. I guess I'm taking orders.

Besides being lovely, it was tasty too! And isn't it nice to preserve it in pictures so you can remember it.

i love it!! definitely NOT a cake wreck. Although I'm a little sad about Barbie dismemberment...were her legs in the cake or did you rip her torso apart...ugh, don't tell me. i can't bear it... she's beautiful!
