Leaping Lovebug

This week is Leap Week!! February 29th doesn't just happen every year .... SO ... I decided to list 29 things I love in honor of this coming up leap day. (February is love month, right?) (thanks for the kind of idea E.H.)I love .....
1. Matt (he's a great husband, hard worker, fun dad, good cook, excellent help around the house, superb carpenter, and just an all around awesome eternal companion)
2. Brielle (she has the best laugh, is exuberant about life and in general a happy girl, she's a great sister, a really good helper when I need her to watch Kate, and a good student at school)
3. Linzi (Linzi is fun, always loves to wrestle around but also loves hugs, she always tells me she loves me, she is also great in school, and she isn't afraid to be her own person. I love that)
4. Tessa (She has the best smile, she loves to run around with her big sisters and have fun, she is good at picking outfits for herself and always knows just what she wants to wear, and she is the best picker upper in this house)
5. Kate (well, she's just sweet, she gets so excited when other people are excited, she loves to pet the cat and laughs when she sees her, she will cuddle with me, which I love, and she cries when she's with other people, which is hard a lot, but sometimes I secretly love it)
6. Chocolate
7. Music (this is our family's source of fun, it's my source of comfort .... I just love it)
8. Warm blankets when it's cold
9. Baking (why I love this, I cannot say, I just love to bake. I want to bake things everyday, but most of the time I don't because who needs to be eating goodies everyday)
10. A really clean kitchen (I love the smell of cleaner ... my favorite is Lysol 3 in 1 ... it's the yellow stuff .... it smells so clean!)
11. Organized kitchen cupboards (I'm almost obsessive compulsive about this)
12. Family outings (who doesn't love these? I love it when we just have a good fun time and no one is arguing. It's the best)
13. A warm sunny day (which we haven't had enough of in WA lately .... well not warm anyway)
14. A good book (Twilight series is my favorite right now ... I want to reread it all the time, but I force myself to read new books, which is good too)
15. The feeling of freshly brushed teeth (I like that "cool mint" feeling)
16. My mom (she keeps me sane when I'm having bad days ... sometimes I feel bad for unloading on her all the time, but she always has such good advice)
17. Talking on the phone (anyone who knows me well knows I talk to my mom, Jessica, and Cori almost everyday, and Siri a few times a week ... when I'm nursing Kate it seems like a logical thing to do)
18. Creme Brulee (which I need to try to make .... it's so good and I've never made it)
19. Going for a walk when it's nice outside
20. Seeing a good movie
21. Having 4 daughters
22. Knowing the church is true, the feeling I get from the spirit when I have inspiration, and peace
23. Feeling happy (some days that feeling is stronger than others ... laundry days it's harder)
24. Playing the piano and singing (it's just something that makes me feel good)
25. Technology (man, life is sure easier with things that have been "invented" in the last few decades ... computers, Ipods, digital cameras, microwaves. thank you someone!)
26. Baby back packs (I sure get a lot more accomplished with this .... Kate will let me do anything when she's in it)
27. A hot shower with no kids pounding on the door or screaming in the background
28. A good night's sleep (I love one when I get one, but it's been, oh let's see, Kate's almost 1, and I wasn't sleeping before she was born because I was so uncomfortable, so, I don't know, a year and a half maybe? Yikes, that's a long time to not have had a full good night's sleep)
29. Babies (in general I just love them, the idea of them, and sounds of them, the squishiness of them, they are the sweetest and best thing about this human life)
