It was fair ...

Fair ... not great.

Fair day was crowded and soggy.  I think we managed to have a little fun though.

We bought scones (to take home) and had burgers and Krusty Pups .... the kids had ice cream cones and chocolate milk from the dairy barn.  They went on a few rides each, which truthfully, was enough.  It rained and toward the end of the rides it was just soggy and miserable.  The kids were good sports though.  We went in the barns and in the hobby hall, which was a crowd pleaser.  Quinn had enough to look at that he only needed to get out of the stroller once.  We even got to see Grandma Judie and Grandpa George twice!  (we didn't go with them, so the kids were excited about that)  On the way out we grabbed a few bags of cotton candy to take home.  (Tessa was thrilled with that!)

All in all?  A fair, fair day experience.  I've had better.  The kids though, thought it was great, and that's all that matters.

We went to the fair and as we were walking to the gate a lady gave us free tickets and free dizzy passes. We couldn't believe it!
