Ten Thousand and Counting

Well, I looked at my counter and there are over 10,000 hits to this blog now. That's a lot! I don't know that many bloggers ... well, there wouldn't have to actually be 10,000, but you know what I mean.

I'd like to see how many comments I can generate in *honor* of the 10,000 times people have viewed this blog. I know I won't get 10,000, but maybe 10? Or more? If you feel so inclined, please tell me, in the comments, what you love to blog about.

(I bet most of you will say kids! They're just so bloggable.)

I'll start it off ..... (you'll have to go look to see what I say)

Blogging is just the best. Don't you agree? I think children and food are just SOOOO bloggable!

I also think a good funny story is just to blog for!

Wow! 10,000 hits...that is a lot.
I love to blog about the fun things we do. Yes, my kids are always in the pictures. They are my life though. It's the only "jounaling" I do. Blogging helps me remember the fun times I have had with friends and family.

I blog to be part of the club. My kids aren't very cute, so I don't write about them very often and I never post pictures of them. I'm not much of a chef, so pictures of my cooking wouldn't be too pretty either. But I love to write, so I just blog for a chance talk. I've always loved the sound of my own voice.

I blog to see my grandchildren and to be included in this family activity. I also blog to share information and hope my family history blogs make our ancestors seem like real people. I started blogging the same month Grandma went on Hospice. It has been an outlet for my secluded lifestyle and I look forward to it. It's like getting out even though I can't get out.

Well Honor, one of the reasons you may have so many hits is just the fun music you have playing. I LOVE music myself and I would turn your blog on and just have it in the background until I finally got onboard and made my playlist. I love having music in the background when I'm at home. And...I love to blog about anything. Blogging has saved my sanity literally because we had a virus take away a lot of precious pictures off of our hard drive. If they weren't on the interenet, too, I would be devastated.

I like to blog about my kids, things that we are doing and about life really. I know I write about political stuff and the spiritual things that make me stop and ponder. Some of the political things are important, very important and I want our kids and grandkids to beable to read about these changing times. I love that my parents can log on and see what we are up to, we live to far away and this whole blogging this is WAY better than phone calls, I enjoy that even my father in law in Belize can log in and get an update any time he wishes..love this whole blog thing!!

BTW, I love your page and find it fun, the music is good and I really enjoy that too. It is wonderful to associate with people who are raising their kids similar to how I am raising mine..it is also nice to learn from others..

Well, if I remember right. I started blogging because my sisters pressured me into it! I actually really enjoy the blogs. Since I live far away it is a way for me to feel like I am a part of your lives. I also feel like you guys can know Jack by reading my blog. I know that mom likes to see what Jack is up to. I guess blogs are the next best thing to actually being there.

I want it to be known that I was the first blogger of the family- yes, I started the Dovre/White blogging trend... even if Honor takes the cake for blogging expertise. I like that blogging keeps a record of what's up in our life because I am horrible at journal writing.

I started blogging after "In Kristys Memory" was started. It is my connection to friends...family... and the occasional blogstalker that stops. More that anything it is one of my creative outlets;) I enjoy reading your blog Honor!

We love to see what your cute family is up to! We don't really love blogging and we're not very good at it, but I love reading other blogs that are so good- like yours! :)

Love your blog and I can't believe you're already passed 10,000 visitors! It seems that my blog is all about my family and my kids. You always are so creative and I look forward to your posts!

OK- so I think I am the only sister who does NOT blog. That said, I love peeking at your blog and the other family blogs. It helps me feel connected when my life is too hectic to keep in touch with all of you in other ways, adn at appropriate times of the day. Thankfully, blogs are open 24/7. If I had time to blog- hmmm.... I guess I'd talk about teenagers, soccer/wrestling moms, and 5-year olds who are too smart for their own good. :-)
