Ode to Mashed Potato Goodness

Mashed potatoes are lovely, creamy and good
Mashed potatoes you know are very good food
I'll eat them for dinner, with gravy galore
In fact I don't even need meat anymore
Just give me a big bowl of potatoes to eat
In general I think that that would be sweet
You probably wonder why I say such things
It's just when I eat them my Norwegian heart sings
Potatoes for dinner are perfectly yummy
Potatoes for breakfast go great in my tummy
I'd even eat potatoes at noon for my lunch
or next to a quiche for a quite classy brunch
So, as you can see, potatoes are dreamy
can't you just picture a large bowl all steamy
with fluffy white goodness so perfect to eat
eating mashed potatoes just makes me complete.
