Well, normally I don't really care what celebrities are doing...
However, Jessica Alba (you know her ... she's been in movies like Fantastic Four ...) just had a baby June 7th , and they named her ....
ready for it?....
Nice huh? So I was reading an article about it, and then glancing at some of the comments that people had made, and people were extremely angry that she was using such a "ridiculous" name. Some of them said things like, "celebrities think they can do the craziest things just because they're celebrities ..." and, "that's the worst name I've ever heard."
Really? Is my name that horrible? I just thought that was interesting.

I don't know anyone else named Honor, so it is unique, but not weird or made-up sounding name. I think it's a great name. You know, somebody always has to criticize the celebs.

I call it sour grapes, that's what! Besides being a beautiful name, it is a classic. It was used extensively in Ireland, and also by the Quakers. Variations are Honour, Honoria, and Honora.
I would like to know who these "people" are. Honor is a fabulous name and they are just jealous that they didn't think of it first.

I too, think it is a great name. I knew Mom would say something about the root of the name... I was waiting for it. :) It's just ignorance that makes people say some of the dumb things they do.
Honor is lovely and it is the name of the main character in the book Beauty by Robin Mckinley. You love to read check it out.
