36 weeks

this picture is a lot less "cheery" ... that's my new look.  :)

• That's right.  I'm that close.  I've had a baby this early too ... well, in a few days.  Kate.  I would like Isla to come as early as Kate please.  My body is done.  And I think my body thinks it's in labor already, so next week ... it's baby time as far as I'm concerned.
• Had my midwife home visit yesterday.  They looked around, said everything looked good, brought the birth kit (gloves, pads, baby hat, clamp for cord, etc.), said it sounds like I'll be having the baby soon, before my due date, measured me (only slightly larger than normal) and baby sounded great.  We're ready!
• Everyone who sees me says that Isla is sitting SO low.  She is.  It hurts.  She's ready to just walk out I think.
• In general, I hope this is the last full week we don't have a baby named Isla.  Next week I'll be happy to see her!  Matt and I were thinking next Saturday.  Her birthday would be 7/9/11 ... that's a good day I think!
