Oh Baby

Oh baby of mine
my tummy's immense
from carrying your body
it's really intense
the kicking and squirming
your hiccuping too
causes quite a commotion
if you only knew
the pains that I'm having
because you are in me
it hurts to bend over
and to simply just "be"
but something about you
sweet baby of mine
makes it all seem worthwhile
even when I do whine
The kicks to the ribs
and hips that are slipping
the balance I'm losing
and times I am tripping
just make me remember
you're growing within
and I have to confess
I just want to grin
when I think about all of your
littleness in there
I realize the miracle
nothing else can compare
so I suppose that the agony
I have to endure
is totally worth it
I'm one hundred percent sure
(I think)
