I guess it is really going to look worse before it gets better. Tessa woke up and said, "Mom, I can't see out of this eye." Her eye was almost swollen completely shut. But it has been worse in the mornings when she wakes up ... so we gave her ibuprofen and put ice on it. It looks better now, but still so bad.
It's just so sad every time I look at her face. (She's been lucky though ... I have been REALLY lenient with her because it looks so awful ... and she's been acting completely normal.)

Oh my heck. That is horrible. I cant even look at it.
It hurts just to look at it! Poor little girl! I wish I had a magic cure to make it heal faster. Sounds like you are all doing the right things. Kids are tough (obviously) so hopefully it will heal quickly!
I'm scared to check your blog tomorrow.
I'm with Amy - I am a little nervous about how it will look tomorrow too. Tha is the worst shiner I have ever seen. Poor little thing, I would be super lenient as well. I almost want to cty just looking at it - of course it does help that she is smiling...
wow. that is crazy! glad she is ok though.
I just can't imagine how hard she must have hit her face. Ouch!
I hope you are going to post some photos to show her getting better. This just makes me want to cry! This is the Grandma writing. I am using Cori's computer.
Oh Honor! The poor girl it looks so painful!!! I hope it starts looking better. Did you take her in? With that swelling could she have broken a check bone?
