Today

Do you ever have those days where you feel like it's not anything special? You don't do anything amazing. You don't go anywhere exciting. In fact, you and the ones who didn't go to school don't even get "dressed" ... the little ones didn't have their hair fixed ... after dinner they still have food on their faces.

This is one of those days. Matt is teaching school this evening. I am home all day and all night -alone with the kids. I'm fine with it ... it's not a big deal, but it's slightly boring. And sometimes I get tired. Especially tired of not talking to rational grown-ups.

So instead of being productive this evening, the girls are drawing, Quinn and I are blogging, and we're dreaming of more exciting "today's."

(I do find it a little cute that they're all out there drawing and singing together, despite the mess they're almost probably making.)
