Three Years of Kate

Our fourth lovely daughter turned 3 on this day.

We can not believe it's been three years already.

She's made such a difference in our every day

We love our sweet little Kate.

At first when she came she was tiny and early.

We were just thrilled she was here.

Then the colic came on, and she turned slightly surly
She actually growled when she cried.

The older she got, she asserted her individuality
she became happy and stubborn and strong.
As the fourth daughter she definitely wanted her own personality
and we're happy she is who she is.

Kate is so sweet and smiley and fun
but she likes to get her own way
in fact she usually won't back down till she's won

whatever it is that she's after.

but if you're feeling down and need an uplift

Kate is the girl for the job
Some how she was given a very great gift
of being able to make you feel better.

She gives compliments and super great snuggles
she smiles the warmest of smiles
she notices when things are kind of a struggle
and she tries to help when she can.

In the three years since Kate came into our life
there hasn't been one easy moment
but the fun and happy has outweighed the strife

What would we do without her?
